hi i have an Ibanez 470, a Korg AX1000G, and a peavy Bandit 112. Whats the best way to get that clean, slapback echo in songs such as "the wall", and "money"? what kind of overdrive should I use for the solos?

I suggest using an electro-harmonix big muff pi distortion pedal. it's the same kind that david guilmour used all throughout the 70's

My friend once told me of an article he read in a guitar mag about David Gilmour. One of the questions was "How do you go about getting David Gilmour's sound?" the answer was "Well, start off with about $20,000 in effects."
... and that's all I have to say about that.
