ajusting guitar neck?
On my guitar i use a nice chromatic tuner and even if i tune the strings up perfectly they come out of tune the higher i go up the fretboard and so it sounds like crap. My friend said I needed to take it to a guitar shop to get the neck adjusted or something. Its gonna cost $50 so I wanna make sure that it will work. Any information would be great.

^^^what he said ...it's easy and you will know if the neck is the problem if it is still out of wack......compare the fretted 12th and harmonic 12th on each string....if they are not the same adjust the saddle in your bridge forward or back to get the pitch identical.....if the fretted note is higher than the harmonic, the string should be lengthened by moving the saddle toward the tailpiece....if the fretted note is lower than the harmonic, the string length should be decreased by moving the saddle towards your pickups :D

A >Search< using "intonation" as the keyword will turn up a lot of information. Like >here< for instance.

I tried that and it worked good except for the low B(7-string guitar) i couldn't get it to go low enough when i tried to tune it from the 12th fret. Is there any other way to get it to go lower?

You can remove the saddle, turn it around, and re-install it with the ridge further away from the neck. If your bridge doesn't have this kind of saddlle, (a Strat, for instance) then your stuck with it.
