Suggestions for humbucker modification
Okay, I have an Epi LP100 and I just recently got the Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge and a Seymour Duncan Jazz in the neck. This combination is good for blues, But thats prolly about it, I cant get them to really dig in and give me some good distortion..theyre too light. Any modifications I can make to solve this problem?

I'm not sure you can mod the pickups but you can buy a distortion pedal. ;)
I am a constant evolving music machine. Oh Man, I just forgot what I was playing. Oh well, on to the next song.

Wow, your JB doesn't have enough grit? Mine has more than enough for my high gain needs. Nice fat and punchy midrange with a good balance of highs and lows. It works great for the heaviest metal and hardest rock I could think of. Especially paired with a 5150. What kind of amp are you playing through?

Dude, a JB should have enough balls for anything you could ever want...thats weird that yours doesnt...wonder whats up..
