From Jethro Tull's Aqualung:

"Feeling like a dead duck
spitting out pieces of his broken luck."
You go outside and practice screaming. We'll play music while you're gone.

"The unsympathetic indifference of previously amiable females, the contempt of muscular males, the acceptance of fragments of bread, the simulated ignorance of casual acquaintances, the latration of illegitimate unlicensed vagabond dogs, the infantile discharge of decomposed vegetable missiles, worth little or nothing, nothing or less than nothing."

Is fairly close to, but not quite at the level of, this one in awesomeness:

"Had Pyrrhus not fallen by a bedlam's hand in Argos or Julius Caesar not been knifed to death. They are not to be thought away. Time has branded them and fettered they are lodged in a room of the infinite possibilities they have ousted. But can those have been possible seeing that they never were? Or was that only possible which came to pass? Weave, weaver of the wind."

Both from Joyce's Ulysses
I want the bomb
I want the P-funk!

My band is better than yours...

may seem corny, but I love, in Yellow Ledbetter, when Eddy leans over to Stone Gossard and says "Make me cry" (enter guitar solo).

Aargh, there are too many great lines! Here are some faves:

"I've got a mouse, and he hasn't got a house, I don't know why I call him Gerald" - from "Bike" by Pink Floyd

"Love is a razor and I walked the line on that silver blade" - from "The Evil That Men Do" by Iron Maiden

"Now my advice for those who die: beware the pennies on your eye, 'cause I'm the taxman!" - from "Taxman" by The Beatles

"The words of the prophets are written on the subway walls" - from "Sound of Silence" by Simon and Garfunkel

"You think you're special... but I know, and I know, and he knows, and she knows, and we know that you're not!" - from "Shut Up" by Simple Plan :D
"It's all folk music... I ain't never heard no horse sing!"
- Attributed variously to Leadbelly and Louis Armstrong

If at first you don't succeed, you are obviously not Chuck Norris.

i beleive it was from "communication breakdown", i dont know, i remember the solo by heart and i remember the hook, but i cant remember which song it is. on the album its hard to hear, but he goes...."shut the.." and the guitar solo comes in when he says "**** up!" anyways, its brilliant.

What?! In Communication Breakdown, Robert Plant shouts "Suck!" right before the solo. That's probably what you're thinkin' of.

That line has some real potential, seriously. It needs to be refined...but you could really go somewhere with that.

Here's a line I came up with:

"I'm the king of verbulation."

It was originally "verbifying," but apparently that's actually a word, so it kind of defeated the whole purpose.
