Hello All! Im thrilled to have joined yesterday!! I used to play guitar a very long time ago and recently decided that I would like to pick it back up again, Im 48 years old. I wasnt very good back then, played rhythm guitar with friends of mine at the time.
Im excited to start over, just bought a new "starter" guitar, a Squire Bullet Strat, and a 80 watt Marshall amp at Guitar center. The marshal is used but is very cool, has cool effects.
I just wanted to say hello and I cant beleive how cool this site is!

Welcome! Squires have always been good starter guitars. I love your enthusiasm.

Let us know how it goes.

So far so good, still going strong. I try to play at least one hour per day, so Im finally starting to feel comfortable again.

Congrats! You will love this site. I also am using a squire. Great starter.
