Hello, just signed up this morning. I have a Strat and have attempted learning to play a few years ago. Is 71 to late to try again? As I have grown older my appreciation for a wide range of music has grown from my love of rock starting in the early 60's. I also figure this might help my strenghten memory and hand strength. Wish me luck!

John

Hi John,

No, it's never too late.

I'm 75 and enjoying every minute learning to play.

I have also learnt a lot about guitars and can now set up the instrument, even replacing the guitar nut, without having to rely on the services of a luthier which saves a lot of money and adds to the overall satisfaction.

It's a grand passtime.

I wish you lots of luck and much satisfaction.

Joe.

Never EVER to late to pursue something that gives you joy. My Dad started at 78, now 83 and loving every minute of his practice and playing time.
