Latest iOS app update not working well for me

Sometimes the login function works and sometimes it doesn’t. After being logged in for a bit, it will stop showing any content. The only option is to log out and then back in again but then logging in can be such a challenge. I’ve tried regular login and the social login. The Google one is the only one that seems to work. The Apple one logs me in as a completely new user with a new account (even though my Apple ID is tied to the same email I registered with) that’s on the free tier. Now I’m getting a bunch of emails trying to get me to join even though I’m already a member. It thinks my email is “by79fjbc8y@privaterelay.appleid.com
