Prebending Strings: Using This Trick in Licks

Description

This first lick works with an A chord, and I'm prebending on the 3rd string after sliding up to the same note. If you dont know what prebending is, you should check out Prebending Strings

After playing the ghost note on the 4th string, slide from the 4th to the 6th fret on the 3rd string. After the next ghost note on the 3rd string, play the the note in the 5th fret on the 2nd string. Prebend the 3rd string, and release it after playing the string. Finish it up with the note in the 2nd fret, on the 3rd string.

I'm hybrid picking on this, but you can also use a flat pick if you want.

I tried not to use as much palm muting here, but some habits are hard to break. Try doing it without the ghost notes, and don't worry about the palm muting yet either. When you feel comfortable with the lick, then you can try it with the other tricks.

I'm using a compressor, reverb, and some delay on this one.
