Let's take a look at how GL gets his tone. Prashant is using an on-loan ESP Kamikaze guitar. This guitar is built to spec from George's guidelines. He tends to use low-output pickups (these are from Seymour Duncan) plugged into a high gain amp.
Effects-wise, we're using an analog Maxon delay pedal to capture George's warm tone and a Radial Engineering distortion pedal for that "L.A. vibe" he's know for.
