Description

In this tutorial we will only use the 6-note blues scale, nothing else. It is the same as the minor pentatonic scale + one note: the famous flat five (b5).

This one note makes a big difference in sound and adds a mean cool flavor that maybe the 5-note pentatonic doesn't have. This one note takes the sound to the next level.

As a bonus, it also allows for some easier fingerings for fast playing, since we have a number of comfortable 3-note-per-string spots here.

We'll be moving around the neck quite a bit trying to find the most useful spots to shred through the blues scale.
