Description

Any acoustic guitar is suitable to play this song. As for the electric guitar, I’m using a Les Paul guitar for this song, but any electric guitar with a humbucker pickup in the bridge position can be used.

A Modern High-Gain tube amp is the best choice to replicate the tones in this tune. Dial in for a thick crunch sound. Start out by setting the Preamp Gain to 75%, Bass to 50%, Mids to 55%, and the Treble and Presence to around 60%.

The best approach for this song is if your amp has channel switching, so that you can change between a clean and crunch sound while playing through the song. Alternately, you could roll the volume down on your guitar to clean up the sound.

Guitar 2 uses a tremolo effect sync’d up with the tempo of the song for dramatic effect.
I’ve also added some of reverb for depth. For the acoustic, I’m using my fingers but also a medium pick for strumming the 11-52 string gage. On the electric, I’m using a 10-46 string gauge with a heavy pick to dig right in.
