Description

I’m using a Stratocaster guitar for this song, but any electric guitar is suitable. I’ve selected the bridge pickup for a bright, clear tone..

A Fender tube amp is the best choice to replicate the electric tone in this tune. Dial in a clean - right on the edge of breakup - sound - for example, set the Preamp Gain to 45%, Bass to 50%, Mids to 55%, Treble to 60%, and Presence to 65%.

When we get to the guitar solo, the guitar stomps on a fuzz pedal to change to an overdriven sound that is used for the rest of the song. Add reverb to all guitars for depth.
Since we’re in standard tuning, I’m using regular light gauge strings that are 10-46 along with a heavy pick.
