“Wish You Were Here” is a song by the English rock band Pink Floyd and was released in 1975 on the album of the same name. Roger Waters and David Gilmour wrote the song together and it remains one of the most iconic songs of all-time.
Dave will show you how to play “Wish You Were Here” which features a 12-string acoustic guitar as well as a six-string acoustic that repeats the intro riff a number of times before the vocals are introduced. There’s also a third guitar, an electric guitar used for the slide sections that give the song its signature haunting and melancholic sound.
