Description
In this lesson I show you what's being played on the electric guitar. This guitar is playing a boom chick pattern without strumming, and walking into the chords.
The other thing that's going on is the palm muting, which isn't as hard to do as you might think. I talk about this useful concept, and tell you how to do it too. It's really a big part of the tone here, and with a little practice you'll be a pro.
This is the part Carl Perkins played in most of the live performances, while Bob played the intro and the fills.
Next we'll play along on the acoustic guitar.
