Description

In this one I'm going to the 5 chord, and again adding fills in between the chords. If you don't know the strum yet, check out Driving Bluegrass Rhythm: Strumming 16th Notes

I started with the G chord for this one too, and again I'm adding the D note in the 3rd fret on the 2nd string. I picked this up from Tony Rice, but sometimes I use the basic G chord too.

Play almost two measures of the G chord, and then walk into the D chord, or the 5 chord in the key of G. Walk back to the G chord, and play the last measure.

I'm using up, and downstrokes with the pick in this one too, but I still play the fills with downstrokes.

In the next lesson, I'll show you how to put these together in a 1, 4, 5 progression.
