Description
Guitar 1 is an acoustic guitar. Any acoustic guitar is suitable to play along with this tune.
Guitars 2 and 3 are electric guitars. A Stratocaster style guitar is a great choice for this tune, but any electric guitar can be used to play this tune. The tone has more to do with the amp and effect settings.
Guitars 1 and 2 require a capo placed at the 1st fret. For Guitar 3, the capo is optional.
As far as amps go, any Fender style tube amp is a fine choice. Dial in a clean sound with balanced bass, mids, and treble. Guitar 2 will need slightly more gain to give the slightest touch of crunch for digging into those riffs and licks. Guitar 3 uses a phaser effect to add a cool texture to the bedtracks. Add some reverb for depth. Here are the settings I used:
Fender Deluxe Model: Drive: 50% Bass: 45% Mid: 55% Treb: 55% Presence: 55%
Phaser: Rate: 35% Wet/DryMIX: 40%
Spring Reverb: WetDryMIX: 30%
