Description
The acoustic guitar plays a simple chord progression in the verse using open chords. The progression is 4 bars of Eb, 2 bars of Bb, then 2 bars of Eb. Going into the chorus, the last bar switches to Eb7. The capo placed at the first fret allows us to play these chords using basic open chord shapes: D for the Eb, and A for the Bb.
The strumming pattern is based in 16th notes, and the accents occur on beat 1, the and of 2, and beat 4. Once you get the strumming down, work on keeping it relaxed and consistent.
