In the previous lesson I showed you how to build the chords in very specific locations that related visually to the scale shape. But it's important to realize that you can play a chord anywhere on the guitar you can find the notes that form the chord. And that means that you can play chord progressions in a virtually unlimited number of ways. The only limit is your instrument and your knowledge.
The first obvious way to find the chords is to use barre chord shapes to get used to finding the chords by their root notes. Eventually you should also look for ways to isolate the triads and inversions of the the chords all across the guitar fretboard.
