Description

I have a completely separate tutorial that covers major scale harmony in depth. But since many students ask about it I think this is a good time to mention the concept of relative major.

Every minor scale has a relative major scale that starts on it's 3rd scale degree. The interesting thing is that the note all remain the same, therefore, the intervals in between the notes remain the same. And the order of chord qualities also remains the same.

The one thing that is different is the numbers get shifted over!
