Description

This is a cool lick, and it's got some chicken pickin' too. This one starts with 4 whole step bends, on the 2nd string. The first one is an octave higher than the the last one, but in both you're bending the 2nd note up to the 3rd note in the scale. In the next one you're bending the 7th up to the 1st note, but an octave higher. In the third one you're bending the 4th up to the 5th note of the scale.

I'm not releasing these bends, I'm using my palm to mute the strings. It's more the side of my right hand really, but wait until you get the bend up to pitch. You can let the last one ring if you want, or you can mute it the way I did.

You can use these bends, and licks separately if you want, but learn it all together first. All of the bends are D bends, and the last part of this is an open string chicken picking lick. I'm also muting with my palm on this too, but mostly on the notes I play with the pick.
