String Bending

Description

This position works with a B chord, and you're still bending the 2nd string up a whole step.

Put your ring finger in the 14th fret on the 2nd string, and your middle finger in the 13th fret. Use your index finger to block the other strings, and you can also put your pinky in the 14th fret on the 1st string. Bend the 2nd string, from the C# note to sound like the D# note in the 16th fret.

The note in the 14th fret on the 2nd string is a C# note, which is the 2nd note in the B major scale. Here you're bending the 2nd note up to the 3rd note in the scale, and in this one it's a D#.

Play the 2nd string with a pick, or your fingers, and then bend it. Release the bend, but don't play the string again until you go back to the B note in the 12th fret.
