Description

A bass run is an easy and fun way to add movement and interest to a fingerpicking piece.
This bass run uses the 4-Step pattern.

Here are the steps for this figure:

First: Start by making a C Major chord. Play a full measure of Variation #1 in this postion.

Next: Play the 4-step pattern on the C chord, then switch to a C/B ("C over B") chord, and play the 4-step pattern in that postion.

Finally: Finish out the figure with a measure of Variation #1, played on an A minor chord.
